Hilary and Nick have been working in food in some respect for years. Hilary trained at Ballymaloe and Nick has been cooking since he was a child. In 2016 we started Stockbridge Social Club together. A pop-up restaurant in our house in Edinburgh and spent 2 years running dinners for hundreds of guests. Towards the end of 2017 we decided that we needed to find a business that mixed our passion for food and flavour with the ability to make a living! As such The Edinburgh Butter Co was born. Focusing on an ethos of locally sourced produce we aim to make some of the finest, flavour rich butters you have ever tasted. Time and effort is spent on the production process to ensure we maintain the quality we want to deliver to our customers.
CHLOE BLACK

Chloe joined the business in January 2020, after spending many years working in London for a top restaurateur, Chloe moved back to Edinburgh in 2016. After having worked for an interior design company for a couple of years she undertook a Masters in Gastronomy at QMU. Chloe also trained at Ballymaloe along with Hilary so the experience she's brings to the business specifically relating to food is huge. She can now be found getting involved in every aspect of the business from production to sales. 
COOPER SINCLAIR
HR Director and Minister of Fun

Cooper is our self appointed HR Director and Minister of Fun. He joined the company as a young pup in 2018 and spent his traineeship learning the ropes and developing his distinct management techniques. Cooper isn't allowed anywhere near production and has a purely office based role but he is hugely important in maintaining morale within the team and ensuring we maintain a healthy work life balance outside of the factory.
